Carreras performing in Limassol
After a seven years absence, Jose Maria Carreras, one of the World greatest tenors, will be performing again in Limassol this year during the “Mediterranean Passion’ concert, which is being organized by the Lemesos Tourism Company, is planned to take place on June 9/2010 at the Municipal Gardens Theatre in Lemesos (Limassol).
Carreras will be accompanied by the Symphonic Orchestra of Cyprus with soprano Rebeca Olvera, under the direction of conductor Miquel Ortega.

The 13th European Dance Festival
During June this year the annual European Dance Festival will again take place in Cyprus to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Republic of Cyprus.
This is the 13th consecutive year that this event is taking place in Cyprus confirming that this festival is gaining importance as a European cultural event.
This year the dance-meeting is being organized by the Ministry of Culture, Embassies of the EU member states in Cyprus and the Rialto Theatre in Lemesos.
The actual performances will take place at the Rialto Theatre in Lemesos as well as the Pallas Theatre in Nicosia.
