In accordance with the provision of the relative law, The Municipality (Town Hall) of Yermasoyia, situated east of Limassol, can legally officiate civil weddings in Cyprus. The marriage ceremony is officiated by the mayor or a person authorized by the Municipality's Civil Council.
The service is held at Yermasoyia's Cultural Centre, an old traditional Cypriot style house, decorated and furnished in the same traditional style. The beautiful gardens of the Yermasoyia Cultural Centre as well as the century-old church of Saint Paraskevi (Ayia Paraskevi) and the traditional narrow paths provide an ideal setting for pre and post wedding ceremony photography
