The following documents will be required for a Greek Orthodox Church wedding:
 Passport: Valid for at least 6 months from wedding’s date.
 Birth certificate. [Long Format].
 Statutory Declaration or Non Impediment Document. This is a Certificate stating that one is free to marry. This document must not be more than three months old.
 Divorce certificate (Absolute Decree) in case of divorced applicants.
 Church Divorce certificate In case of a divorce after a Greek Orthodox Wedding, then a certificate is required from the church.
 Certificate of Death of their late partner, in case of widowed applicants.
 Change of Name Deed required if an applicant has changed their name.
 Adoption certificate required in case of an adopted applicant.
 Baptismal Certificate This document is usually given in Greek, signed and stamped from the priest of your parish and no translation is needed.
 Letter of Celibacy A certificate giving consent and the freedom to marry, is required from the Greek Orthodox Church. This document is usually given in Greek, signed and stamped from the priest of your parish and no translation is needed.
: In case of church documents, for an Orthodox Church Wedding, these must be validated by your local Church Bishop.
: In case of Non-Cypriot applicants, a Cyprus Civil wedding must precede the Orthodox Church Wedding ceremony.
